Getting Organized - Day 2

I love when I get inspired to get organized! As you saw with yesterday's post, I have been in the mood to organize lately. One of the projects I worked on was our bathroom. Living in an apartment, we have limited space. Our home is the perfect size for us right now but it does require a little craftiness when it comes to storage. I had the idea the other day to put up a shelf in the bathroom to help with the clutter on the sink and underneath in the cabinets.
Before:
As you can see, things were kinda shoved anywhere and everywhere they would fit. I can't stand for our stuff to be so disorganized and cluttered! So I tried out some pinteresting things :)

First, I got some glass containers and baskets from TJ Maxx (I thoroughly recommend buying home items especially containers and baskets at TJ Maxx...their prices are great and have some of the cutest things!) I used those to store different items - from headbands, to medicines, to make up and even makeup brushes.

Probably my favorite part of this project was a clean container I put my makeup brushes in. I got the idea from Pinterest! I used coffee beans in a glass round jar to put my makeup brushes in. I used some Hope coffee I got this summer at Freed Hardeman University's GO! Camp. This coffee was made in Honduras and all the profits go toward spreading the Word of the Lord as well as providing food and shelter for the Honduran people. What an amazing idea! And the coffee is REALLY good! I had a large bag of the beans though so I decided to use it for this project.

I think it looks really neat and it smells really good! Here is a link to the website for Hope Coffee so you should definitely check it out! http://www.hopecoffee.org/

My organization project went great and I am very happy with the result. Our bathroom is so much more organized and less cluttered which makes me happy! Check out the finished product:

I love how clean everything is!
Hope you have a great rest of the evening and tomorrow!
much love,
the Lisics
